Office Telephone: (401) 737-1230
Stephen Clark serves as Ministry Intern at Greenwood, leading and coordinating our young adult ministries and assisting in worship leadership, pulpit supply, and many other aspects of the life and ministry of this congregation. Steve is a recent graduate of Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, where he earned a liberal arts degree with concentration in theology and philosophy and a minor in Greek and Bible. While at Cedarville, Steve served two years as Student Government Association (SGA) chaplain, a position that enabled him to regularly lead in worship and preach for a congregation of over three thousand students and faculty. Through this position and other outlets, Steve has provided pulpit supply to churches in Ohio, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, was able to study abroad in Israel, and served on a week-long missions trip to the Dominican Republic where he helped facilitate a $35,000 philanthropy project. Most recently, Steve spent a summer serving as Youth and Family Associate at Calvin Presbyterian Church in Shoreline, WA, a suburb of Seattle. As a focus of ministry, Steve strives to be used in any way possible to attract those around him to Christ, whether through preaching, conversation, or simply sharing experiences together. He is currently a student at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, working toward the Master of Divinity degree.
